The group ‘aespa’ has confirmed its popularity in Japan.
According to SM Entertainment, the agency on the 29th, Aespa appeared on the stage of Japan's large music festival 'GMO SONIC 2024' held at the Saitama Super Arena the day before.
Aespa started the stage with the mega hit song 'Next Level' and continued with 'Illusion', 'Better Things', 'Welcome To My World', and 'Seoul'. They performed stages such as ‘Thirsty’, ‘Hold On Tight’, and ‘YEPPI YEPPI’ one after another.
In addition, aespa has released songs ranging from 'Spicy', which gained worldwide popularity last year, to their debut song 'Black Mamba', to 'Trick or Trick' and 'Drama' from their fourth mini album. A total of 11 songs were played.
SM introduced, “Aespa presented a performance reminiscent of her mini concert,” and that she “fascinated the audience with one hot performance after another.”
This festival, which was held on the 27th and the day before, also featured world-class DJs such as Zed and Kaigo, SM's new group 'Rise', and CJ ENM's Japanese collaboration group 'JO1'.
Meanwhile, Aespa will participate in ‘SM Town Live 2024 SMSU Palace @Tokyo’, which will be held at Tokyo Dome in Japan on February 21st and 22nd.
