Hyderabad: India have set a target of 231 runs to win the first Test match against England.
The 4th day of the first Test match between India and England is going on briskly. At the end of the 3rd day of the match, England had scored 316 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. England vice-captain Ollie Pope scored 148 runs and Rehan Ahmed scored 16 runs. With this, the England team took a lead of 126 runs.
Following this, the 4th day's play was started by Pope - Rehan Ahmed alliance. Jadeja and Bumrah combined attack on the Indian side. Pope scored 150 runs in the 2nd over of the day itself. Both were active in adding runs. Due to this successive boundaries were hit. In this situation, Rehan Ahmed was dismissed for 28 runs on the ball thrown by Bumrah.
