Bradley Cooper has recently revealed his daughter is the only reason of his existence.
During an appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast this week, the Maestro actor, who shares six-year-old daughter Lea with his model ex Irina Shayk, confessed, “Being a parent? Honestly, I'm not sure I'd be alive if I wasn't a dad. I don't know.”
Your DNA is going to tell you there's something more important than you,” said Cooper.
Reflecting on his role as a father, the Silver Linings Playbook actor stated, “I want my daughter to have as much foundation as she can.”
“I think about how my relationship with my daughter impacts her growth and the journey she's gonna be on,” remarked the 49-year-old.
Cooper added, “The least amount of damage I can do to my daughter—please let me work on myself.”
Recalling his early days with his daughter Lea, the Hangover actor dished, “The first eight months, I was like, ‘I don't even know if I really love the kid, it's dope. It's cool’. And then all of a sudden it's like no question.”
Cooper also opened up about his long, profound conversations with his daughter at this age, adding, “Her ability to articulate her feelings at 6 years old. Her mother and I bawled over this human being that we're raising that is able to articulate in her voice.“
