On the afternoon of the 2nd, a train on Busan Subway Line 1 broke down, causing inconvenience to passengers.
According to the Busan Transportation Corporation on the 3rd, at 5:44 p.m. the previous day, the Dadaepo-bound train on Line 1 was about to depart from Seomyeon when it stopped due to a decrease in power.
The train was operated in emergency operation mode, a temporary measure, to Busan Station, but after disembarking all passengers at Busan Station, it moved to Sinpyeong Depot.
This accident caused a series of inconveniences, including a delay in train operation for 6 minutes and 82 passengers on board receiving refunds at Busan Station.
Busan Transportation Corporation is investigating the exact cause of the accident.
