The agency explained, “The making video included a scene where Ji Chang-wook used an electronic cigarette indoors,” adding, “It was an inappropriate scene and caused discomfort to those who viewed it.”
He continued, “Ji Chang-wook also recognizes that this was inappropriate behavior and is sorry for disappointing many people.”

Netizens pointed out that Ji Chang-wook was seen smoking indoors in the making video of the JTBC drama ‘Welcome to Samdali’, which was recently released on YouTube.
The video shows Ji Chang-wook rehearsing with actors such as Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jae-won, putting what appears to be an electronic cigarette in his mouth and then taking it off. As criticism continued to arise about smoking indoors, the scene in question was edited out of the video.
