Robert informed Lincoln County Sheriff's Office deputies on March 12 that he has accidentally committed the crime.

According to him, his mother was a vampire who had been haunting his nights, leaving him with blood-stained sheets and a sense of terror.

As law enforcement officers rushed to the scene on East Logsden Road in Siletz, they saw Robert, with his hands and clothes stained with blood. He held tightly to his mother's belongings, a purse and a letter. But Judy was nowhere to be found.
